In order to carry out rigorous research on strategies to reduce poverty, we need to use the most advanced methods available. IPA conducts and sponsors methodological research on study design and analysis as well as fieldwork implementation. This topic also includes experiments and other forms of validation research on how to design efficient, effective surveys and other data collection methods for measuring poverty-related outcomes.
