Nov 04 Economics Exchange Forum: The Path to More Locally-Grounded Research with Students from Université Norbert Zongo On November 4, IPA organized a dissemination workshop with PhD and Master's students from the Norbert Zongo University in Burkina Faso.During the workshop, they had the chance to present their own research and to benefit from advice that may help them get ahead in their future careers as development researchers.This event was co-chaired by Professor Eugénie Maïga of Université Norbert Zongo, Professor Andrew Dillon of Northwestern University, and IPA’s country leadership in Burkina Faso. Nov 03 IPA, J-PAL, and the Environmental Law Institute, Present at Geneva Peace Week 2021 On November 3, in a session titled “Emergent Approaches to M&E for Peacebuilding”, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Senior Policy Associate Isabela Salgado, IPA’s Peace & Recovery Senior Program Associate Daphne Schermer, Environmental Law Institute Research Associate Shehla Chowdhury and Director of Internal Programs Carl Bruch, and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Senior Program Officer Martha Mutisi presented on the importance of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to peacebuilding interventions.
