Jan 29 Taking Evidence to Scale We are at an exciting phase in understanding how to bring research results to scale. During this symposium we will hear researchers and practitioners discuss the challenges and opportunities during the piloting, evaluation and scaling phases of programs. A cocktail reception announcing the launch of Evidence Action will follow the symposium. Jan 23 Workshop on Effectiveness of Cash Transfers IPA Burkina Faso hosted an impact workshop titled “Girls’ Schooling in Burkina Faso: Effects of Conditional and Unconditional Cash Transfers.” Richard Akresh (Illinois University) presented the results of a 2010 survey in southern Burkina Faso.
