Aug 13 Collaboration with the Kenya National Examination Council After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Assessment Centre (NAC) of the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC), IPA Kenya began participating in the NAC steering committee.The objective of the NAC Steering Committee is to offer leadership and guidance to the NAC on potential topics for research, which partners to work with, and how to developed the institution's strategic focus.The Steering Committee includes representatives from donors, governmental organizations working with NAC, and local and international universities. Aug 04 Asia Microfinance Forum 2014 Beniamino Savonitto (Director, Citi IPA Financial Capability Research Fund at the Global Financial Inclusion Initiative, IPA) attended the 2014 Asia Microfinance Forum hosted by the Banking With the Poor Network (BWTP), Citi Foundation, the China Association of Microfinance (CAM), and the Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC).The forum brought together a wide range of policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to address a range of challenges and opportunities for the microfinance industry in Asia and the broader movement toward greater financial inclusion.Beniamino participated in a panel discussing the use of behavioral economics in the design of microfinance products and services.
