Apr 10 IPA Uganda Participates in CARE’s Women Digital Sub-Wallets Workshop Post Teaser Text From April 10-14, 2017, IPA Uganda participated in CARE’s Women Digital Sub-Wallets workshop.The e-wallet is a new service provided by PostBank, a well-known bank in Uganda which has previously been a branch bank.The e-wallet service allows women to access formal bank accounts through mobile technology and have pre-labeled digital subwallets to categorize their savings, such as school fees and healthcare. The four-day workshop aimed to share and review findings from the pilot study and forge a way forward to a scale-up of the project. Apr 10 Impact Workshop Series on Education in Ghana Post Teaser Text IPA researcher Professor Pascaline Dupas presented the results of her research project on the impact of free secondary education in Ghana.Around 80 attendees (mostly researchers and students) came to this event and were able to discuss these results with her.
