IPA Colombia Country Director Sebastian Chaskel presented on how RCTs have had an impact, where more evidence is needed, and what's next for IPA.His presentation highlighted the impact of RCTs in the microfinance and financial education sectors, as well as the need for more research in certain areas, such as unconditional cash transfers.He also shared IPA's upcoming plan for work in Peace and Recovery (Expression of Interest announcement here, and information on IPA's competitive fund here).The presentation was livestreamed to the Universidad Javeriana alumni community.

Innovations for Poverty Action Zambia co-presented with the Varkey Foundation on August 23-24th in Lusaka.

IPA Philippines, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Philippines, hosted the presentation of results on the Impact Evaluation of the Special Program for Employment of Students.Emily Beam, Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Vermont and principal investigator on the study, presented the results to over 60 key stakeholders from the DOLE national and regional offices, other government agencies, the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation, and the Australian Government.
