As part of the dissemination of European Union-funded research results under the Trust Fund, Interconsortia and IPA organized a half-day session where Professor Andrew Dillon of Northwestern University presented the descriptive data of a basic survey focused on the eastern and Boucle du Mouhoun regions of Burkina Faso.

On November 30, IPA Myanmar hosted its second of a series of roundtables to discuss the potential use of impact evaluations for programming and policy across various sectors in Myanmar.For this roundtable, Alexandra Hartman, Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Policy at University College London, presented a case study of how a top-down alternative dispute resolution intervention changed how local institutions functioned in post-conflict rural Liberia.

On November 26th, Financial Inclusion Program (FIP) Manager, Nellie Moore, presented at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) and Reserve Bank of Fiji’s Conference on Smart Policies for Green Financial Inclusion.She shared a synthesis of and relevant examples from the existing evidence on how financial services can build resilience to climate change, as well as knowledge gaps to prioritize for future research.
