On May 10, IPA's Regional Director for West Africa Claudia Casarotto presented at an event hosted by the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) and the Campbell Collaboration.The conference, "Using evidence for more effective development policy and practice," brought together policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to discuss ways to foster evidence-based policymaking and programming in the German development cooperation.Claudia spoke on a panel about creating an enabling environment for evidence-based policymaking and discussed IPA's approach to co-creating policy-relevant evidence together with decision-makers. More about the conference is available here.

On May 8, IPA Zambia presented on global research findings at the Ministry of Health's 2019 Family Planning Annual Review meeting in Chongwe, Zambia.The Family Planning Annual Review meetings are attended by Ministry of Health officials from national and provincial levels and family planning stakeholders in Zambia to discuss the country's progress towards achieving the Family Planning 2020 goals.
