Nov 08 IPA Myanmar Co-Hosts Lecture on Climate Change, Air Pollution, and Human Health On November 8, during Professor Subhrendu K.Pattanayak’s visit to Myanmar for the inception workshop of the solar energy project, IPA Myanmar held a lecture talk to graduate students from the Yangon University of Economics (YUE).This event, titled "Climate Change, Air Pollution, and Human Health: Can Economics Research Help Address these Ominous Links?” was co-hosted by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) from 6 pm to 7 pm at the YUE campus. Nov 08 IPA Myanmar Presents Global Work in Agriculture Value Chain Financing On November 8, IPA Myanmar presented at a workshop titled “Agricultural Value Chain Finance in Myanmar: Policy, Practice, and Inclusion.” The event was co-organized by the Myanmar Economic Association (MEA), with support from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), and the DaNa Facility.This one-day workshop covered the current state of policy and practice of agricultural value chain finance in Myanmar, emerging reforms and developments, and opportunities to expand access to agricultural finance in the coming years.
