Nov 21 IPA Peru Presents on Interventions to Counter Gender-Based Violence On November 21, the Ministry of Women of Peru hosted a dissemination event where Ursula Aldana (Instituto de Estudios Peruanos) presented the design of “Leaders in Action” a program that trains local leaders to become community health volunteers and raise awareness of gender-based violence (GBV) in their villages, to a policy audience at the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations (MIMP).The presentation also introduced the design of a new arm of the intervention based on group treatment in community meetings to discuss topics related to GBV.This arm will include a qualitative analysis of the study.
