Since its founding, IPA has co-created evidence with Kenya’s government in education, rural electrification, and other sectors. IPA Kenya is currently engaging with decision-makers through several official partnerships, including the Government of Kenya’s Vision 2030 initiative, which seeks to transform Kenya into a middle-income country by 2030 through economic, social and political development.

Since 2015, IPA has collaborated with the Vision 2030 Secretariat on conferences which focus on using evidence to create and inform policies in the Education, Agriculture, and Health sectors.

In 2018, IPA Kenya chaired the Education Evidence for Action (EE4A) group, which brings together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders in Kenya to learn best practices and share results in the education space. IPA-K is also a member of the Permanent Working Group on Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET).
