Paul Adams directs IPA's Financial Inclusion Program. He works to enhance access to and usage of responsible and inclusive financial markets and oversees such topics as interoperable payment systems and consumer protection. Prior to joining IPA, he had over a decade of experience in financial regulation and research. He co-founded the Behavioural Economics and Data Science Unit at the UK Financial Conduct Authority and helped the Dutch Authority for Financial Markets develop a research strategy. He is a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics, an MIT Solve Champion, and a member of the RFF Advisory Council. He holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Development Economics, both from Manchester University.
