Farah Said is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and is currently serving as the Executive Director of Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre (MHRC) based at LUMS. She is a Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) Affiliate, a Research Affiliate at the International Growth Centre (IGC), a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP), and an Associate Fellow at IDEAS. Her research uses field experiments and behavioral economics to study household finance, economic agency, and policy design in Pakistan. Her work covers microfinance, digital payments, social protection, and female labor force participation. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Lahore School of Economics, an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
