Brian Mwesigwa is currently serving as Research Manager for the Consumer Protection portfolio of IPA's projects in Nigeria. Brian has over eight years of experience coordinating and managing research projects with publications both internal (an IPA brief co-branded with Africa Practice) and external (Global Health: Science and Practice Journal and the National Library of Medicine). He previously worked with IPA Uganda as a Senior Research Associate where he managed the implementation of several randomized evaluations related to public health, education, food security, and gender equality. He has an MSc in Development Economics, post-graduate training in Monitoring and Evaluation, and a Bachelors of Economics and Statistics.
