On September 19th, Elizabeth Koshy, SME Program Manager, participated in a panel discussion on "Gender and Sustainable Development” at International Conference on Sustainable Development 2017, held at Columbia University in New York.

Colombia's Banco de la República leads a group of government and private organizations in charge of the national strategy for financial inclusion and financial education programs.With support of the World Bank and the Swiss Embassy, the Banco de la República asked IPA to develop a workshop on monitoring and evaluation (M&E) strategies for organizations in the financial sector. All of the attendees of the workshop worked for financial institutions and managed financial education programs at those institutions.
