IPA Philippines Presents Results of mEducation Program to DepEd Regional Offices
On June 15, IPA Philippines held a virtual meeting with various regional offices, schools division offices, and schools from the Department of Education (DepEd) to present the results of mEducation, a phone-based math learning intervention for students in grades 3-4 that delivers instructions to support student education. In the meeting, IPA gave an overview of mEducation, presented the evidence and key findings from the pilot evaluations, and discussed plans and next steps for possible program adoption. The presentation was led by Rene Marlon Panti, Research Manager, and Karisha Anne Cruz, Senior Policy & Project Development Associate. Director Roger Masapol of the DepEd Planning Service delivered the opening remarks.
