IPA and Burkina Faso's Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources, and Fisheries Sign an MoU
Location: Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso
On April 20, IPA Francophone West Africa (FWA) and Burkina Faso's Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources, and Fisheries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Ouagadougou to strengthen the design and implementation of evidence-based agricultural policies. This MoU will allow IPA FWA and the Ministry to co-build an embedded evidence lab to strengthen evidence-based decision making. IPA and Ministry staff will work side by side to map and valorize existing data and identify data management gaps and capacity building needs. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister Delegate, representatives of the Ministry's Directorates, and IPA FWA staff and was broadcasted on national television and on the Ministry's Facebook page.
