Wainaina is an Advisor for IPA's Right-Fit Evidence Unit. He has eight years of experience designing and leading evidence-driven initiatives across climate resilience, sustainable development, agriculture, and economic empowerment. His work spans both development and humanitarian contexts, with experience in Eastern Africa, South Asia, and the United States. He is deeply committed to tackling multidimensional poverty through systems innovation and the strategic use of evidence. He holds a Master's in environmental management from Yale University and an Bachelor's in Industrial Chemistry from The Technical University of Kenya.
