Tagel Gebrehiwot is a Development Economist, Director of Globe Research Consultancy Services (GRCS), and a data analyst at Cigna. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Twente in the Netherlands and has more than 13 years of experience in applied econometrics, data analytics, and policy-oriented research across East Africa. His research focuses on agriculture, food and nutrition security, climate adaptation and resilience, environmental economics, pastoral economies, and impact evaluation. He has led multi-country research initiatives in collaboration with international academic and policy partners and has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
