Simón is an Advisor for IPA's Right-Fit Evidence unit, based in Colombia. Before this, he worked as a Research Associate at IPA Colombia, where he contributed to projects focused on piloting, refining, evaluating, and scaling up soft-skills training for migrant entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Colombian government, as well as supporting IPA's research agenda on migration and the regularization of Venezuelan migrants. Before joining IPA, Simón worked as a Research Assistant on political economy and economic development projects for professors from the University of Chicago, University of California San Diego, Harvard Business School, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
