Simón is a Research Associate at IPA Colombia. In his role, he is working on a project focused at piloting, refining, evaluating, and scaling up a soft-skills training for migrant entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Colombian government. Previously, he supported IPA's research agenda on migration and regularization of Venezuelan migrants in the country. Before joining IPA, he worked as a Research Assistant on political economy and economic development issues for professors at the University of Chicago, University of California, San Diego, Harvard Business School, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Simón is an Economist from Universidad de los Andes.
