Philile Shongwe is a Senior Manager for the Right-Fit Evidence Unit based in Kenya. She works closely with bilateral funders, government agencies, and implementing partners to ensure evidence-driven decision-making and the scaling of impactful programs. Previously, she was the MLE Strategy Manager at Evidence Action, developing monitoring strategies for large-scale nutrition programs across Africa and Asia. She has also held research and policy roles at IDinsight and the African School of Economics, leading evaluations on education, health, and social protection. Philile holds a Master’s in International Development Policy from Duke University and a Bachelor’s in Global Affairs and French from Yale University.
