Julia Freeman holds a BA in Asian Studies and Political Science from Furman University and a MSc in International Development with a specialism in Applied Developmental Economics from the London School of Economics. Prior to IPA, she worked in India for Jnana Prabodhini and Oxfam in London. She has extensive experience working for NGOs on women empowerment projects.
