Eduardo Fagundes was a researcher at the Getulio Vargas Foundation's Center for Science Applied to Public Security and a researcher at the MPRJ Research Center, where he worked with data analysis on armed criminal groups and control of police activity. He has experience in processing, organizing, and analyzing geospatial and textual data. He holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in Economics from PUC-Rio and is interested in economic development, the economics of education and the economics of crime. He is currently studying for a PhD in Economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
