Bridget Hoffmann is a Lead Economist in the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank. She is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on the distribution of environmental quality and the effects of environmental shocks and policies, as well as social protection programs in Latin America. She received her PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2015 and holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics and Mathematics from the University of Rochester.
