Antonella is a quantitative social scientist and data scientist currently working on the Behavioral Economics team at Google. Her work focuses on understanding complex human behaviors and systems, using behavioral and economic theory to drive positive change—most recently by studying large language model (LLM) adoption and its impacts. Her academic research addresses historical and contemporary challenges to state capacity in Latin America. By combining quasi-experimental and experimental designs with intensive fieldwork, she investigates the interplay between non-state armed actors, forced displacement, and political development to identify policies that mitigate conflict and improve the integration of displaced populations.
