Rene Marlon Panti is managing the Philippines Socioeconomic Panel Survey (PSPS), a 20-year panel study, and leading the scaling of mEducation, a program that delivers simple math instruction via mobile phones. He has overseen major policy and impact evaluations, including studies of social assistance programs, financial systems, and justice sector reforms in the Philippines. Before joining IPA, he was a lecturer at the Department of Economics of the Ateneo de Manila University, a Research Associate at the Human Development Network Philippines, and a Field Coordinator for the Behavioural Insights Team. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of the Philippines.
