On November 8, IPA Myanmar presented at a workshop titled “Agricultural Value Chain Finance in Myanmar: Policy, Practice, and Inclusion.” The event was co-organized by the Myanmar Economic Association (MEA), with support from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), and the DaNa Facility. This one-day workshop covered the current state of policy and practice of agricultural value chain finance in Myanmar, emerging reforms and developments, and opportunities to expand access to agricultural finance in the coming years. It brought together leading stakeholders from the Government of Myanmar, the private sector, NGOs, donor organizations, and researchers, to jointly discuss these critical issues.
