Russell Toth is a Senior Lecturer (advanced Assistant Professor in Australia) at the School of Economics at the University of Sydney. He is a development microeconomist focusing on the development of the private sector (firms, access to finance, entrepreneurship, markets, role of new technologies), with projects often overlapping with environmental, agricultural, and behavioral economics, and political economy. His current fieldwork is focused in Indonesia and Myanmar.
