Nov 03 IPA Philippines Presents Results to Congress at the National Evaluation Policy Forum Post Teaser Text IPA Philippines Senior Research Manager, Peter Srouji, presented IPA's evaluation of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition at a knowledge-sharing forum organized by the Congressional Policy and Budget Research Department (CPBRD) and the Senate Economic Planning Office (SEPO).The event was conducted in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), with high-level presenters who reacted to IPA's research from the Department of Health's National Nutrition Council, the Department of Science and Technology's Food and Nutrition Research Institute, and IDInsight.Senators of the Philippines and legislators of the lower house attended the forum virtually. Oct 30 Taxation and Formalization: From Evidence to Policy Making Post Teaser Text This webinar showcased six research studies, carried out in coordination in Brazil, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India, Malawi, and Nigeria, that assessed the role of information about the process of tax formalization—including costs and benefits—along with assistance and/or subsidies to reduce the cost to citizens. The event highlighted the integrated results from the studies along with actionable insights and policy recommendations.
