Jun 29 Phone Surveys Using Random Digit Dialing: Lessons Learned from IPA’s Multi-Country RECOVR Surveys Post Teaser Text On June 29, 2021, Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Global Poverty Research Lab (GPRL) at Northwestern University held a webinar on rapid phone surveys.Random Digit Dialing (RDD) has become one of the most commonly used methods for selecting phone survey participants, especially after in-person restrictions were imposed due to COVID-19.Until now, there has been little available evidence on the effectiveness of different RDD strategies for ensuring high data quality and representativeness in low- and middle-income countries. Jun 28 IPA Philippines Hosts Design Workshop for Nimble Experimentation on Digital Financial Inclusion Post Teaser Text On June 28, IPA Philippines conducted a virtual design workshop with key stakeholders and implementing partners to assess and refine treatment prototypes for the Nimble Experimentation on Digital Financial Inclusion project.This exercise helped ensure that the experiment designs are relevant and feasible to implement under a short-term proof-of-concept project.The experiments are mainly focused on information treatments that promote take-up and usage of the newly opened digital financial accounts as a result of the government's digitized distribution of the Social Amelioration Program emergency cash subsidy.
