Côte D’Ivoire's Directorate General of Employment (DGE) now has an Embedded Evidence Lab to institutionalize the development and implementation of employment policies using evidence. On May 9, 2022, IPA's Executive Director Annie Duflo visited Lomé, Togo, to meet with the President of Togo, Faure Gnassingbé, as well as the Minister of Digital Economy and Transformation and the Director General of the National Agency for Identification.This meeting, which focused on strengthening partnerships for the use of evidence in decision-making in West Africa, provided an opportunity to discuss IPA’s mission, engagements, challenges, and prospects in Francophone West Africa, and to sign a partnership agreement between IPA and the Government of Togo.Annie Duflo, accompanied by Andreas Holzinger (Country Director of IPA Francophone West Africa), was received in Lomé by President Gnassingbé.
