The Department of Social Welfare and Development's National Community-Driven Development Program (KC-NCDDP) invited IPA Philippines to speak at their annual National M&E Conference and Planning Workshop from October 23-27, 2017.Jessa Cruz represented IPA Philippines and spoke in front of around 80 DSWD KC-NCDDP M&E field staff about IPA's protocols and best practices on data collection (getting the "Right-Fit" data), data management (ensuring research quality), and data utilization (making data and research actionable).

IPA Philippines conducted an RCTs and Monitoring & Evaluation Workshop for 25 member organizations of the Association of Foundations at the Association of Foundations Conference Room at the Aurora Tower, Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City, Philippines.The first day of the workshop focused on what is evaluation, theory of change, and a short session about Right-Fit M&E.

Jessa Cruz, IPA Philippines Policy Associate, was invited to be a resource speaker at the Department of Education's 2nd National Planning Conference from October 10-12, 2017.Held at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City, the theme for the annual planning conference was "Evidence-based Planning through Research and Innovations." Jessa presented on two session topics: Theory of Change and Preparing for Program Evaluation.
