Jul 06 IPA Uganda Co-Hosts CEGA'S EASST Summit The Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley's 7th annual EASST Summit was held in Kampala on July 6, 2018, at the Fairway Hotel.The summit, held in partnership with IPA and Makerere University, provided a unique opportunity to hear about cutting-edge research being conducted by East African scholars and CEGA affiliates to measure the impacts of policies and programs related to health, education, agriculture and other topics of critical importance in East Africa.The forum also provided the perspective of policymakers regarding their need for evidence to inform decision-making in the region.
