On May 24-25, 2017, IPA Kenya Country Director&nbsp;Suleiman Asman, Research Manager Peter LeFrancois, and Policy Assistant Kelvin Gichia attended the 2017&nbsp;Evidence to Action Conference&nbsp;organized by the International Centre for Evaluation &amp; Development (ICED). The theme of the conference was "<em>Towards an Evidence Based and Data-Informed Policy, Action and Practice in Africa</em>." The conference&nbsp;aimed to promote evidence&nbsp;from rigorous impact evaluations and encourage increased utilization of research and innovation to influence policy changes at national, regional, and global levels.&nbsp;Asman and Emily Cupito from&nbsp;J-PAL presented on “Scaling an innovative credit product for stallholders across contexts”, while Peter presented on&nbsp;IPA's Weather Risk project.
