IPA Kenya Presents at the 2017 Evidence to Action Conference: Towards Evidence Based and Data-Informed Policy, Action and Practice in Africa
On May 24-25, 2017, IPA Kenya Country Director Suleiman Asman, Research Manager Peter LeFrancois, and Policy Assistant Kelvin Gichia attended the 2017 Evidence to Action Conference organized by the International Centre for Evaluation & Development (ICED). The theme of the conference was "<em>Towards an Evidence Based and Data-Informed Policy, Action and Practice in Africa</em>." The conference aimed to promote evidence from rigorous impact evaluations and encourage increased utilization of research and innovation to influence policy changes at national, regional, and global levels. Asman and Emily Cupito from J-PAL presented on “Scaling an innovative credit product for stallholders across contexts”, while Peter presented on IPA's Weather Risk project.
