Building Trust during the COVID-19 Pandemic
This webinar was part of the C19 Behaviour Change webinar series hosted by FCDO’s CV19 Behaviour Change Forum and the COVID-19 Hygiene Hub at LSHTM. The webinar explored the results, synthesis of findings, and recommendations of these studies for programs and policies to build trust during disease outbreaks in low-and-middle-income countries.
In particular, we heard from Travis Curtice, Assistant Professor, Drexel University about his research “Public trust, policing, and the COVID-19 pandemic: Evidence from an electoral authoritarian regime in Uganda” with Rob Blair, David Dow, and Guy Grossman; and Kate Vyborny, Research Scientist, and Associate Director - DevLab at Duke University, about her research “Religious leaders compliance with state authority: Experimental evidence from COVID-19 in Pakistan.” Learn more here.
