Abstract
India has had one of the most stringent lock-downs in response to the COVID-19 crisis. While the severity of the move will help in controlling the spread of the virus, it is bound to have severe economic repercussions over the long run. So, it is necessary to assess the impact of the coronavirus and measures taken to control its spread on citizens and businesses alike. This would help in informing the actions that need to be taken once the virus is contained and also for all future pandemics. The survey aims to quantify these assessments across different sections of society. The study from the survey will also develop insights into how trust in the state can alter the impact of government response to such crises.
