Policies to Create Jobs and Community: Learning from the Evidence on Forced Displacement
Can job policies be transformative to forcibly displaced and host populations alike and foster social cohesion? In this event, Ricardo Morel, Director of IPA's Peace & Recovery Program, moderated a panel of experts in discussing how research can improve policymaking. The event examined the lessons learned from utilizing research in forced displacement operations, as presented by Building the Evidence on Forced Displacement, a research partnership between the UK, the World Bank, and UNHCR that has expanded the tools and evidence for policymaking on forced displacement.
