Yotam Margalit is the Brian Mulroney Chair in Government at the School of Political Science and International Affairs at Tel Aviv University and a Professor in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London.

Much of his research deals with the political consequences of globalization, particularly immigration and international trade. He also studies the sources of individual preferences on economic policy and the way changing personal circumstances shape political views. A more recent strand of research deals with the political repercussions of economic crises.
