Uchechi Shirley Anaduaka is a lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Economics, Hong Kong Baptist University. Her broad research interests center around child, adolescent, and youth development, and the welfare of African women and migrants. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Lingnan University, where she studied as a Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme scholar. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on the effects of polygyny on child health and the determinants of birth registration for children under five years old in Nigeria.
