Stephen is an Implementation Associate leading the intervention for the “Tech-Enabled Interventions to Close the Credit Gap for Women Entrepreneurs” (INCLUDE) project. The project examines how digital interventions can reduce demand-side frictions in credit uptake among women entrepreneurs in Kenya. Previously, he worked with IPA Uganda from 2010 to 2016 and later served as a senior research manager supporting researchers and scholars from the World Bank and universities including Chicago Booth, Texas A&M, and LSE. He holds a degree from Makerere University.
