Sherian Abramaitys-Yi brings 20+ years of senior HR leadership to global nonprofits and research institutions. Before joining Innovations for Poverty Action, she served as CHRO at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, leading HR across 13 countries and strengthening people-centered, transparent workplace practices. She held senior HR roles at Asia Society, IFPRI, ICRW, and the Congressional Hunger Center. Sherian specializes in strategic advising, mentorship, and capacity building in multicultural settings. She holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
