Rebecca Littman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois Chicago. Her research focuses on the psychology of conflict and reconciliation, primarily in the United States and sub-Saharan Africa. She also studies how behavioral science-informed interventions can be harnessed to reduce conflict and address social problems more broadly. She also serves as a Research Advisor to the non-profit Beyond Conflict and to United Nations University’s Managing Exits from Armed Conflict project. Before this she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Human Cooperation Lab at MIT and a Postdoctoral Innovation Lab Fellow at Beyond Conflict. Littman received her PhD in Psychology and Social Policy from Princeton University in 2017.
