Pascaline Dupas is the Joseph Douglas Green 1895 Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University. She is a development economist whose research focuses on the challenges facing low-income households and the policies and interventions that can address them. Her research includes education policy, public service delivery, and health insurance in countries including Ghana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and India. She is co-President of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD), co-Scientific Director of J-PAL Africa, and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). She holds a PhD in Economics from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales.
