Nahema Sylla is a Policy Manager for IPA, supporting policy projects across West Africa. She previously served as an Embedded Lab Coordinator at IPA Francophone West Africa, working closely with education sector counterparts from the Ministry of Education and Alphabetization in Côte d’Ivoire to strengthen the government’s capacity to use evidence to improve its programs and policies. Prior to that, she served for four years as a project officer for a non-profit in Mali and Senegal, tasked with the implementation of projects aimed at enhancing governance quality through improved efficiency and transparency in data management. Nahema holds an MA in Global Governance from Florida International University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
