Mike Murphy is a Senior Research Analyst with the Markets, Trade and Institutions Division and a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Bordeaux. His primary research interests are in decision-making by smallholder farmers under uncertainty, and the determinants of agricultural technology adoption. Mike has extensive experience implementing digital surveys and field experiments, and leads the CAPI portion of the CGIAR Big Data platform’s community of practice for socio-economic data.
