Maud Akissi Amon-Tanoh is IPA’s Country Director for Francophone West Africa, where she oversees research, operations, partnerships, and policy engagement in Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, and Mali. Previously, as Head of Research at Muso Health, she set the strategic research agenda and led evaluations of health systems transformation programs to improve maternal and child health. Formerly, she was a researcher-epidemiologist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, specializing in evaluation studies in low- and middle-income countries. Maud holds a PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and MSc degrees from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and the University of Oxford.
