Mateo Valderrama is an Associate Manager, Policy for IPA Colombia, where he supports the development and implementation of Embedded Evidence Labs. Before IPA, Mateo worked at Precision Development (PxD), advancing evidence-generation activities to strengthen PxD's digital advisory services for smallholder farmers. He also worked at Instiglio, a nonprofit consultancy advising governments and international donors to catalyze more effective spending by employing evidence- and performance-based programming. Mateo holds a double BA in Economics and Government and Public Affairs from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
