Manon Alizée Delvaux is a Postdoctoral Researcher at UniDistance Suisse and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Zurich. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Zurich in 2026. Her research focuses on development and behavioral economics, with additional interests in political economy. She mainly uses field experiments and lab-in-the-field experiments to study how social structures and institutions shape decision-making and market participation in low-income settings. Her fieldwork is based in Uganda, Kenya, and Côte d'Ivoire and spans topics such as land-use contracting in refugee contexts, governance within religious institutions, and network-based interventions for social diffusion. She holds a master's degree in International Trade, Finance and Development from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. She also earned a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics from ENSAE ParisTech.
