Lorena Cruz is a Senior Research Associate at IPA Mexico, where she collaborates with the University of Chicago on two projects evaluating the impact of the Police Leadership Academy and the Community Violence Intervention Leadership Academy. They bring extensive experience as an academic journal editor, educator at various levels in both Mexico and France, and as a trainer and evaluator of institutional processes in government settings. Lorena has also supported numerous research projects at Mexican universities. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
