Laura Soto Peña is a Research Analyst for IPA Colombia. She first joined IPA as a research intern, supporting projects on business consulting and SME training. Before that, she was a research assistant at the Center for Economic Development Studies (CEDE) at Universidad de los Andes, where she focused on the economic history of land tenure and armed conflict in Colombia. Laura holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes, where she is currently pursuing an MSc in Economics.
